Painted Lady's Cat Tale

Have you ever wondered where we breeders get our names for our cats? Some are really stupid, and some are really spectacular. Well, here is a story of a spectacular baby, with a name that fits her well.

Once upon a time there was a sweet girl named Mandalae. She was bred to a beautiful boy named Goldenmagi (the cattery) Uraco (a sports car). Both parents are brown spotted, but Mandy gave birth to 3 brown marble kittens. Wow! She didn't have any milk, so we were able to find another mom that was able to take on additional kittens. They grew and turned into beautiful babies. Mandy had 2 boys and 1 girl.

The boys were both very nice, but I didn't need another male. Oh but wait! Look at this little girl.....it looks like her coat is painted on her. Ah, what a name......Painted Lady. Oh yes, I have found yet another perfect name for a kitten. Her coat is just beautiful. It feels like liquid silk. She has such a sweet personality. Her colors are so rich, and the pattern is flowing.

At her first show as a kitten, she made 3 finals. I was really proud of her. She behaved very well for the judges, and sat in the holding cages in each ring like the sweet little lady she is. There was another kitten that seemed to be next to her the whole weekend that was very loud, and not happy to be there. It didn't effect Lady's composure at all. Even if she didn't get any rosettes that weekend, I was very proud of her.

Lady is growing like a weed, and is just getting more and more beautiful each day. I look forward to her showing career, and to see her babies.
