So many times I have told people what I look for in a kitten. How I decide what baby I will keep for me. It boils down to one thing - do they take my breath away?

I watched the little kitten come into this world, and when she was cleaned up, she took my breath away. What a absolutely stunning baby at just minutes old! So perfect, rosettes at birth, great expression even with her eyes shut, and she was just amazing!

As I watched her and her siblings grow, she always stood out. The only bad thing about Chantilly is. . . she thinks that humans are icky, including me! Ack! You wonder why I don't have a better photo of her? When I get too close with the camera, she runs from me. She will sit on top of my computer monitor while I am on the computer and be very happy. Can I pet her? No way! It drives me nuts! I can't figure out why she hates people so much, as she was never abused as a baby. Her mom is very sweet, as is her dad. Her siblings were people friendly, but just not her.

I will be patient, Chantilly. There will be a day that you will realize how much I love you any way, and you will let me show you how nice it is to be touched by the icky human.
