9.26.04 What a show! Lots of new kittens being shown (including one of mine), and they were just stunning. The adults weren't any thing to shrug over either, just not as many at this show. It was great to see every one, including a few that haven't been to a Southern California show in quite a bit. Let me get typing, as the kittens will take me quite a bit of time to do. Let's start with the kittens! The rosettes went to (in no particular order or amounts): Dreamland Revelation of Marblerose, Calcatta Sampson of Wildgold, and Kitty Cate Action Jackson. Congratulations to Sampson who made Grand Champion at this show! Canie couldn't stop smiling, and I don't blame her one bit! Also a big congratulations to Kathy & Shirley of Exoticrose with their 2 kittens. They did quite well. They said they were going to come to the next show in October, and I said I would come with some Nair to see if we couldn't give them (the kittens) a new look. I would like to comment on my little mini girl. She was the smallest kitten there, but she had the biggest mouth! I was very pleased with her behavior in the ring, and she just squeaked into this show turning 4 months on Friday. She is quite a stunning brown marble girl, and I can see her doing great things as she gets bigger. Of course Saiph, the joy of my life, made the show very enjoyable with his wonderful sweet self. No finals this time around, but I really don't care. He did receive a few breed placings, which I think is great considering he is almost 8 years old! As long as he loves to be at the show, I'll continue to bring him. At this show, we had the annual Thomas Sharp Memorial Award for the best Brown Spotted Bengal at the show. The winner was voted by the Bengal breeders, and the winner is . . . . Dreamland Revelation of Marblerose. Congratulations to Robert & Annette Sanchez for their beautiful boy! I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the cats and kittens at the show. They are all just stunning and any and all could have walked away with all the rosettes at the show!
