7.26.04 Good morning one and all. After a good nights sleep - although my air conditioner went out yesterday when I was gone, and it was very hot here in the desert - I feel refreshed enough to tackle the list of cat names and their owners. It was a great show, with great cats and kittens. I enjoyed visiting with everyone, and drooling over all the fur kids! I did stay far enough back so I wouldn't get them all wet. They were all just superb, I really don't know how the judges could make a choice! The adults were represented by: Kailucats Café, owner - Julie Kailua; Silveredrose Goldenmagi Penny, owner - Pam Sharp & Annette Sanchez; Gogees Pawsitiv Energy of Bengalchi, owner - L Posten & T Gabriel; Camelottaspots Flaming Torch, owner - Arden Morley; Dreamland Revelation of Marblerose; Kailucats Leopard of Silveredrose, owner - Annette Sanchez; Calcatta Kenya of Kalika; owner - Pearl & Ashley Islas; Calcatta Safari Treat of Kalika, owner - Pearl & Ashley Islas; Wildvision Matinee Idol, owner - Tom & Barbara Quiring; Belair Bengals Tsunami, owner - Jennie Chevalier; Millwood Gigabyte, owner - Jean Mill; Elitebengals Don Juan of Bishopbengals, owner - Karen Bishop . . . I brought my Blue Marble boy, Desertstar's Cobalt, to show in the New Traits division. He was well received by the judges, and of course he is just a joy to have with me. Since he was the only New Trait entry, he got all the rosettes for his division. Heck, I'll take them where I can! It was a real joy for me to have father (Saiph) and son (Cobalt) at the same show. It was another wonderful weekend for me to renew my soul, which was badly needed. I would like to thank every one for sharing their wonderful Bengal kids with the rest of us. They were all truly amazing! I asked Jean Mill if she ever thought the Bengals would be as popular as they have become, and she said yes. However, she said, she never expected them to advance so quickly in the past few years. We both agreed it has been an amazing journey.
