Arcadia Show Report

As always, the show was great. It is especially fun to visit with all the breeders and see the wonderful cats and kittens they are sharing for the weekend. I don't understand why they won't share with me for a few years - I'd give them back . . . Eventually . . . This was also the weekend for Supreme parties and birthday's too. I do apologize if I missed any one, but no one seems to put their cats numbers on their benching cages so I can be sure to get every one! That was a big hint in case you missed that.

My little Calcutta didn't get any rosettes, but did get some nice color placings from some of the judges. That's okay, as she is still one of the smallest adults there. This was also her last show. I might bring her back out after she has a litter, and maybe not. She is beautiful, and I know it. She will be a great mom, and produce some wonderful babies for me. I also had my sweet Blue Marble boy, Cobalt in the New Traits. He was up against the most adorable Brittish Short Hair (long hair) you have ever seen, so the kitten got all the rosettes. No hurt feelings on our part, as it was a really nice baby. I get lots of positive comments about Cobalt from the judges and from people who are just amazed what a beautiful boy he is.

Again, a mega big thanks to all the breeders for bringing out their babies for us to see. I am so proud to be a part of this breed, and to see how far it has advanced over the years.

pawprint With warmest of spotted bellies!
