Arcadia Show Report

What a weekend. Getting up at 3:15 on my days off, just so I can come to the show - I wouldn't change a thing! Well, maybe a little more sleep. It was great to see my other cat nut friends for the weekend, and all their lovely babies!

Now that I've gotten a bit more sleep this morning, and my allergies aren't quite so bad, I'll attempt to type all the lovely names (and I hope that I don't make too many mistakes).

I was showing in the adult class so we will start there. We were represented by:

The rosettes went to (in no particular order or amounts): Millwood Yottabyte of Purrbodies, Coolspots Ground Zero, Kalanikats Winter and Kalanikats Karisma. I'm sorry if I missed any one from Sunday. I think that Snopride Imanidoltoo should have gotten a final or two. I was able to leave early on Sunday - my allergies were really bad, and I had a really nasty headache. If your cat won, please add on to the report!

The kitten class was much smaller, but by no means not full of wonderful babies! They were represented by:

Coolspots Live Wire, owner - Glenn & Donette Piccininno; Dreamland Da Vinci, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer . . . Brown Spotted Division . . . Therealms Purrl Ice, owner - Don & Lydia Wright; Bellagiobengals Flash of Koppiekatz, owner - Bruce & Viki Safley; Bellagiobengals Myz of Boydsbengals, owner - Melody Boyd . . . Black Silver Spotted Division . . . Dreamland Mystique, owner - Pam Sharp & Annette Sanchez . . Seal Mink Silver Spotted Division . . . Wildgold Qannik, owner - Canie Brooks . . . Seal Spotted Lynx Point Division . . .

The rosettes went to (in no particular order or amounts): Coolspots Live Wire, Dreamland Da Vinci, Therealms Purrl Ice, Bellagiobengals Flash of Koppiekatz, Dreamland Mystique. If I missed any one, again my apologies.

Now for my wee little bragging for my sweet boy Maza. He isn't a flashy show cat, but he is a wonderful breeding boy - and has produced some absolutely stunning babies! He has the best personality, and his kittens are the most friendly and self confident babies I have ever produced. Maza and I had our "date" weekend, as I needed to have special time with him. He is one of those special fur babies who can take a really rotten day, and make it better by his love and sweetness. Dwayne Barns gave him 3rd in color and 3rd in division, which was just the icing on the cake as far as I was concerned. I had forgotten that Heather and Jeff Roberts were going to be there judging, and Heather was just tickled to see him again (I purchased Maza from them). She almost cried seeing him again. She showed off his lovely chubby cheeks, and Maza just sat there loving every minute of it. I got a weekend full of his head butts, nose kisses, purrs, and bread making. Thank you for letting me rant on about my boy. I am so very proud of him, and I just adore him.

That was the show folks. It was great seeing everyone, and sharing your beautiful kids with us all. It made me feel great to know that you all missed me not coming to the shows - oh! You missed me doing the show reports!

pawprint With warmest of spotted bellies!
