Buena Park Show Report

Good morning one and all. With my coffee cup in hand, and a decent nights sleep behind me (as much as my cats would let me have after being gone over night), I will take a stab at a show report.

May I say, I have never seen such a spectacular group of cats and kittens at a show! There was not one cat or kitten that couldn't have taken all the rosettes home. I was drooling the whole show!

Here we go . . . The rosettes went to (in no particular order or amount): Koppiekatz Custom Image (I call him Buzzy), Catatude's Icy Comet, Dreamland Goliath, Wildvision Kutlas, Silveredrose Abram, Elitebengals Don Juan, Wildvision Shasta Mae, Goldenmagi Going to California, and I believe Rainforest Maui also received a final.

The kittens were represented by: Gogees Pawsitiv Energy of Bengalchi, owner - Laura Posten & Todd Gabriel; Boudeaudbengals Karma of Bengalchi, owner Laura Posten & Todd Gabriel; Calcatta's Eureka It's Gold, owner - Christine Dahleen; Calcatta's Kenya of Kalika, owner - Pearl & Ashley Islas; Calcatta's Safari Treat of Kalika, owner - Pearl & Ashley Islas; Mainstreet Victoria Secret, owner - Debbie & Rick Corns; Bengalic Felines Teddy Kennedy, owner - Rebecca & Christina Steiner; Bengalic Felives Sara Kennedy, owner - Rebecca & Christina Steiner. . . Brown Spotted Division.

The rosettes went to (in no particular order or amount): Mainstreet Victoria Secret, Calcatta's Eureka It's Gold, Calcatta's Kenya of Kalika, and Calcatta's Safari Treat of Kalika.

Now comes my gushing over my baby boy. Even though Saiph didn't win any rosettes, he did receive many 1st in color, some division placings and a few breed placings. One judge commented how wonderful it was to have a chance to judge an older cat - Saiph is 7 years 3 months - to feel the mature muscles. He is a very special baby, and I love my time with him at the shows. I thank God daily for blessing me with Saiph.

I'd like to thank all the breeders there at the show for sharing their stunning babies with us all. They are all truly amazing and simply the best group representing the Bengal breed I have ever seen!
