Cabazon Show Report

The show was really amazing and it was just great to see all the beautiful Bengals that were there! Enough for a Bengal Congress for both days! I would like to thank Jeff and Heather Roberts for being the judges for our congress. They had a tough job with this show (as did all the judges).

The Bengal Congress was just awesome! If I could have just shrunk them down enough to sneak them out of the show hall under my shirt, but unfortunately, I forgot my shrinking gun at home. Jeff Roberts was our judge on Saturday, and Heather on Sunday. The results of the Congress on Saturday was as follows:

My little girl, Calcutta - is still just that - little. Very hard for her to compete with the bigger kids, but she held her own in color. I was also showing my Blue Marble boy, Cobalt, in the new trait class. He is a beautiful and sweet baby, and is just a joy to have at the shows.

I want to say Happy Birthday to Annette Sanchez - it is her birthday today. A few of us had a little birthday party for her on Saturday, and I think we caught her off guard. She was really surprised, and it was fun. I also wanted to thank Chuck and Melanie Woodward (a new up and coming Bengal breeder that I'm sure you will hear all about as they have their kittens to show) for letting me stay with them so I wouldn't have such a long drive to and from the show.

Thanks again to all the Bengal breeders who brought their beautiful cats and kittens to share with us at the show. It is just wonderful to see how the breed is progressing with such leaps and bounds!
