2.18.03 The show had some of the most exquisite cats I have seen in a long time. There was a smaller kitten class this show, but I have a feeling that it made the adult class a bit larger with the growing kids. I was showing both kittens and adults, and I don't think I ever had a chance to watch the entire adult class being judged. The kitten class was as follows: Wildgold's Hercules, owner - Canie Brooks; Dawnstar Soft Parade, owner - Anita Klinger --- Brown Marble division --- Leopard Imagine That, owner - Ruth Hodges; Goldenmagi Praha, owner - Pam Sharp; Goldenmagi Mandisa, owner - Denise Flores; Goldenmagi Apache of Desertstar, owner - one very hot Red Head, ME!; Amantra Markers Imaginario, owner - Karen Sausman; Dreamland Revelation of Marblerose, owner - Annette Sanchez; Pinyonpride (name pending), owner - Earl Shropshire; Dawnstar Clean the Midway, owner - Anita Klinger; Goldenmagi George Brett HOFER, owner Teri Kamaunu ---Brown Spotted division --- Kutabays Faith Hill, owner - Natalie Sullivan --- Seal Sepia Marble division. The rosettes went to (in no particular order or numbers): Golden Magi Mandisa, Dreamland Revelation of Marblerose, Dawnstar Soft Parade, Goldenmagi George Brett HOFER. This is for you Anita! Her little brown marble baby Soft Parade received Best Kitten for his final. Anita was so happy that she was absolutely ditzy! My sweet Apache didn't receive any finals, but was recognized in a few rings for color and division. He behaved well, and as my grandson Dylan would say, "He's a good aboy". You would think he was Italian the way he says it. The adults were represented by: Pons Purrs Yukon of Catspawbengals, owner - L. June Wilson; Goldenmagi King Cheetah, owner - Pam Sharp; Joykatz Saiph of Desertstar, owner - the same hot Red Head from the kitten class, ME!; Starbengal Mirage of Kalanikats, owner - Tatyana Kalani; Dawnstar Wildest Dreams, owner - Anita Klinger --- Brown Marble division --- Dreamland Salsa of Bengalxpress, owner - Rhonda Hauffe; Dawnstar Rude Awakening, owner - Anita Klinger; Dreamland Fireball, Chuck & Connie Pealer; Bengoria Klondike of Catspawbengals, owner - L. June Wilson; Koppikatz Twilight of Dreamland, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Starbengal Sahara of Kalanikats, owner - Natasha Kalani; Wildvision Buckshot, owner - Barbara & Tom Quiring; Kingsmark Halliah, owner - Karen Sausman; Bengalxpress Zackary, owner - Rhonda Hauffe; Elite Bengals Tapout, owner - Juan & Maribel Gonzalez; Mainstreet's Wild Ideas, owner - Rick & Debbie Corns --- Brown Spotted division --- Wildvision Komet, owner - Barbara & Tom Quiring; Marblerose Israel, owner - Anette & Robert Sanchez --- Seal Mink Spotted division--- The rosettes went to (in no particular order or numbers): Goldenmagi King Cheetah; Elitebengals Tapout; Marblerose Israel; Mainstreet's Wild Ideas, Wildvision Komet, and Joykatz Saiph of Desertstar. We had some mile stones with titles this weekend! Goldenmagi Cheetah is now a Champion! Elitebengals Tapout is a Quad Grand Champion! The big brag for me --- are you all ready?! Too bad if you aren't. My beautiful boy, Saiph received 3 finals over the weekend. He went into this show as a Double Grand, and came out a Quad Grand Champion! I am so proud of this boy. He was the oldest "whole" cat being shown this past weekend, and I can't say enough about his personality and how stunningly handsome he is. I don't think you can tell how much I love this boy, can you? We also had the opportunity to see Judy Sudgen's Toygers at the show. Wow, has she done a magnificent job with the strides she has made! We had a quick visit from Jean Mill, Dianna Star, Deb Zorn, and Larry Hunter. Larry sold me Saiph, and he had the chance to see his boy get his Quad final. Lynda Gibson came for a short time as well. This show certainly was great. The competition was stiff, and any of the cats and kittens being shown could have walked away with all the rosettes. It is just wonderful to be a part of such a magnificent breed, and I am deeply honored to be a part of their lives.
