Arcadia Show Report

It was a great weekend for a cat show. Well, any weekend is a great weekend for a cat show! In this case it was nice to take the weekend off from work, and spend it with a bunch of cat nuts. Of course seeing all the beautiful cats and kittens was a major perk!

There were tons of Bengal cats and kittens there this weekend. I would have brought 2, but my marble kitten hid from me both days when I was getting ready to load them in their carriers and leave. I'll show her next month, when I put her in one of the pens in the garage after she gets the claw clipping and bath. No where to hide then Miss Calcutta!

I'll be sitting here typing for hours with all the cats and kittens, so here we go!

I wanted to give a very special congratulations to Cheri Carpe for her beautiful boy Action Jackson. He became a Supreme Grand Champion on Saturday! I was so thrilled for Cheri, and just think . . . She didn't want to get a brown marble. Good thing she did! It couldn't happen to a nicer person.

My sweet Saiph wasn't feeling great this weekend, so I pulled him from the show after 2 rings on Sunday. He looked like an un-made bed, and just wasn't his usual stunning self. I left a little early so I could tuck him into bed for the evening. I'll give him an extra kiss or two to help him feel better.

As I said before, sweet Calcutta decided to hide when she saw the carrier come out on Saturday. I'll out smart her next month - I hope!
