Hi Ho Bengal lovers one and all......Just back from the Irvine show. Barbara Quiring and I drove down both days, so I hope you appreciate how exhausted I am to write this tonight.

I was showing in the adult class this time around. Yes, my sweet little girl Desertstar's Painted Lady is becoming an adult....sniff.....That means that this little person has to compete with the B I G B O Y S!!!!!!

In the adult class we were represented by: Millwood Brickle, owner - Jean Mill; Lavonas tribal luv Glo Mo Sem Simba, owner -Lavona Nelson; Mainstreet Dakota, owner - Debbie Corns; Goldenmagi Africa of Elitebengals, owner - Juan & Maribel Gonzalez; Goldenmagi Kenya of Elitebengals, owner - Juan & Maribel Gonzalez; Millwood Fuji Tono of Asahi, owner - Doug & Junko Neibauer; Nikes Perfect Dreamland, owner - Lora Honikel; Millwood Samikazi Samurai, owner - Laryce and Jacques Vidal...that was the brown spotted division.....Catacopia Tambuka of Enchantedtails, owner - Holly Erickson; Desertstar's Painted Lady, owner (who is no longer a blonde!) - the new and improved with red hair (or roufus as some one told me over the weekend) Jan Deady; Bengoria Billy's Baby Jane, owner - Lora Honikel/Connie Pealer.....that was the brown marble division......Goldenmagi Sundance of Wildvision, owner - Barbara Quiring.....Seal Mink Spotted division.......The rosettes all went to the big brown spotted boys, with 1 rare exception of a beautiful spotted girl. Jean Mill's boy, Brickle got a rosette or two, Millwood Samikazi Samurai received some nice rosettes. The little girl who stole a rosette from the boys was Goldenmagi Africa of Elitebengals. The big winner was Mainstreet Dakota. Lots of rosettes adorning his cage.

I did get a chance to check out 1 kitten judging this morning. Wow! Great kittens up and coming! They were represented by: Chaparral Double Helix, owner - Jeff & Heather Roberts; Millwood Blockbuster, owner - Jean Mill; Dreamland Illusion, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Latedakats Stoli of Dreamland, owner - D. Driggs/R. Garrison; Dreamland Medallion, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Mainstreet Shockwave, owner - Debbie Corns; Dawnstar Lets Tango, owner - Anita Klinger; Spothaven Golden Heart of Dawnstar, owner - Anita Klinger; Tigger, owner - Sally Glatz.....that was the brown spotted division.......Bengoria Stetson of Dreamland, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Bengoria Calamity Jane, owner - Mark Spitler.....that was the brown marble division.....Aluren Carmel Kisses of Wildriver, owner - Sylvia Durando; Chapparal Velvet Painting, owner - Jeff & Heather Roberts; Chaparral Tango on Ice, owner - A. Slowinska/D/ Jennette......that was the mink spotted division.......Gilhooleys Fubuki of Ssahi, owner - Doug & Junko Neibauer; Goldenmagi Coupe Ivorie - owner Pam Sharp....that was the seal mink marble division. I know I didn't get all who got what with the finals, but I do know Bengoria Calamity Jane did pretty well, as did Chaparral Double Helix. Also, one of Dreamland's babies received a rosette.

No Bengals being judged in the assesment class this weekend. No silvers or blues.

I must say, I really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful Bengals out this weekend. It was fun to see my friends too. Every one took a double take when they saw me. As you know, I have been the brunt of my own blonde jokes, and now that I'm not.....I guess I have to act smart. I think I'll go back to the blonde soon. This is just too much for me to handle! This show was especially great for my soul, and I feel great to be associated with such a wonderful group of people. You all need to give yourselves a great big pat on the back for the wonderful babies you are producing. Thank you for letting me be a part of this too.

pawprint With warmest of spotted bellies!
