1.22.07 Well, it has been a LONG time since I have typed up one of these. Actually my last show before this past weekend was a year ago October. It was a great show to be at. Because I did have a Blue at the show, you get to read about the New Traits too! We were represented by: Royalbg Blue Knight, owner Maria Rodriguez & Richard Kyrk; Desertstar's Cobalt, owner - proudly, Me. Blue Knight is a beautiful blue spotted boy - young at only 7 months. He is still coming into his color, but still a very nice boy. Cobalt is a great representation of what a marble should look like. He is also the old man at 4 1/2 years old. He has beautiful contrast for the dilute blue color, and is fully developed as a male. Blue Knight received 7 rosettes to Cobalt's 3 - which truthfully could have gone either way in all 10 rings. Very nice boys. Now is my bragging rights for Arrow. This was his first show ever at 1 year old. Truthfully, I didn't have a clue how he would behave with all the other cats at the show. He did his mom proud! Arrow is a stunning boy - but small - with arrowhead rosettes, no bars, a coat to drool over, glitter to blind you, small rounded ears, and a very wild look to his face. He did receive some color points, did get 2nd in color, 2nd in division and 3rd of breed in on of the rings. He just thoroughly enjoyed his weekend, and made biskets all day both days! I had a great time seeing everyone, seeing all the beautiful babies, and spending a weekend with 2 of my boys. I would like to thank everyone there at the show for sharing such stunning animals with us all.
