1.21.02 Hello one and all. This is Jan Deady reporting, formally known as "The Blonde", now the sultry "Red Head". I am using Barbara and Tom Quiring's computer, as in my current living situation, I have no phone or computer. Enough with that...... The show was great! It was wonderful to see every one there, including Ruth Hodges, who hasn't been showing for about 6 months. The competition was stiff, and there were the most awesome kittens being shown. I was showing in the adult class, but I did get a chance to catch part of the kitten rings over the weekend. The adults were represented by: Desertstar's Painted Lady, owner - none other than the wonderful person who is reporting this....Jan Deady; Dawnstar Heart and Soul, owner - Anita Klinger; Joykatz Saiph of Desertstar, owner - me again.....that was the brown marble class. Brockmore Laila of Oceanwoods, owner - Sheri Peardon; Goldenmagi Africa of Elitebengals, owner - Juan & Maribel Gonzalez; Millwood Butter Brickle, owner - Jean Mill; Latedakats Stoli of Dreamland, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Mainstreet Dakota, owner - Debbie Corns; Nicki Nicketa, owner - Jan Giacinto; Goldenmagi Kenya of Elitebengals, owner Juan & Maribel Gonzalez.....that was that brown spotted class. Goodenmagi Coupe Ivorie, owner - Pam Sharp...Seal Mink Marble class.....Goldenmagi Sundance of Wildvision, owner - Tom & Barbara Quiring.....Seal Mink Spotted. The rosettes went to Anita's Heart and Soul (who has his final to be a champion, but was only shown on Sunday), Dreamland's Stoli is on his way to be a Grand Champion (and I might add in the past few months since I last saw him compete as a kitten....has grown up to be a beautiful young man), Jean Mill's Butter Brickle, Juan and Maribel's 2 beautiful girls Kenya and Africa, and Debbie Corn's boy, Dakota. My kids didn't get any finals, but they did do well in color and even in division. Unfortunately, when they placed 2nd in breed, the judge only finaled 1 Bengal. Oh darn. In the kitten division....be prepared to read a bunch of names.......they were represented by: Bengoria Stetson of Dreamland, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Wildvision Hope of Goldenmagi, owner - Pam Sharp; Bengoria Calamity Jane, owner - Mark Spitler....that was the brown marble class. Exoticrose Deniro, owner - Kathy Krysta & Shirley Piper; Dreamland Illusion, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Kittycate Bathsheba, owner - Judity B. Cate; Leopardlane Golden Dreams, owner - Ruth Hodges; Millwood Xtreme, owner - Jean Mill; Dreamland Medallion, owner - Chuck & Connie Pealer; Exoticrose Kiss me Kate of Stageone, owner - Tricia Hogan; Dawnstar Lets Tango, owner Anita Klinger; Dreamland Gentelman Jim of Bengoria, owner - Mark Spitler; Wildvision Spirit, owner - Tom & Barbara Quiring; Starbengal Rose of Marblerose, owner - Annette Sanchez; Millwood Lullaby of Mainstreet, owner - Debbie Corns; Spothaven Golden Heart of Dawnstar, owner - Anita Klinger; Starbengal's Zotti of Hugable, owner - Carole Huyck....that was the brown spotted class. Wildgold's Nala, owner - Canie Victoria Brooks...Seal Lynx Spotted class. The rosettes went to Mark Spitler's Calamiity Jane, Ruth Hodges baby girl, Golden Dreams, Jean Mill's nice boy, Xtreme, and Debbie Corn's girl Lullaby. How the judges can pick from these wonderful examples of the Bengal breed, is truly unbelievable. Each and every cat and kitten that was represented there could have come home with a Best Cat or Kitten rosette in each and every ring. The breeders should be congratulated in the great strides that are being accomplished with each and every new litter. This humble breeder thanks God that I am a part of this wonderful breed, and that I am able to continue with my breeding program.
