1.19.04 Hi-de-ho Bengal lovers far and wide. This report is coming later than usual, but as I always say - better late than never! I am having an allergy attack at the moment, so I hope this will come without too many typo's. I do have my ever faithful Bengal baby in my lap as I type, Cobalt, who is here to provide the quality assurance. Yeah right, he missed me and I'm now being held captive with him on my lap. Wouldn't have it any other way. The cats that were there this past weekend were so impressive! I was showing in both the adult and kitten classes, so I was running most of the time. It never failed when they called for kittens, they were wanting the adults on the opposite side of the rings. Not as many kittens this time around, and we could actually put them all up at the same time. The adults, on the other hand, had many more beautiful cats to drool over. The adults were represented by: Joykatz Saiph of Desertstar, owner - one very tired red head with a stuffed up nose, me; Kittycate Action Jackson, owner, Cheri Carpe. . . Brown Marble Division. . . I was so proud of Aramis for getting his final! He is such a beautiful boy, small round ears, wild face, ocili behind the ears, soft plush coat. Unfortunately, there was something at the show that irritated one of his eyes, so it was constantly running. He's fine at home today. Also, I think that was his last show. He really hated being there, and would just be a ball in the judging cages. I had a judge tell me he was sick. Not sick, just unhappy. He didn't misbehave, growl, or try to get away - except when I tried to catch him in the mornings to come to the show, then he ran like crazy. Of course my sweet and beautiful Saiph - the old man of the show - just loves to be there. He didn't win a rosette, but as long as he enjoys the shows, I'll continue to bring him. I would like to let the exhibitors know how much I enjoyed seeing everyone, and their cats were just stunning. I honestly don't know how the judges can pick one cat over the next. If I had my way, they would all get Best Cat in every ring.
